Join us for an ice cream social at our Friday, Aug. 2nd, 7:00 pm summer gathering. Enjoy vanilla and chocolate ice cream with sundae toppings, and root beer for floats. Our next scheduled first Friday educational meeting at 7:00 pm, with license test at 5:00 pm, will begin again on Sept. 6, 2019. The September meeting topic will be Parks on the Air (POTA) and roving, with Pete/K0BAK presenting. Come and see the amazing rover van he outfitted for maximum contacts on the road.

Updated 7/21: Due to hot weather the PAARC foxhunt of 7/20 has been moved to Sat., 7/27 at 9:00 am. All are welcome to join us and learn about fox hunting (aka transmitter hunt). We start at the Pottsgrove Middle School on 1351 N. Hanover St., Pottstown 19464 N 40 deg., 16.27 min, W 75 deg. 38.15 min. Al (AG3T) and Dori (K3TES) will be the foxes. Please in us for our annual club picnic on Friday, July 5th at 6:30 pm at St. James Lutheran Church in Limerick, PA. Instead of the usual monthly meeting presentation, come and dine with friends in the air-conditioned comfort of our large meeting room at the church. Outdoor seating available, weather permitting. Enjoy a buffet style feast with hot dogs, hamburgers, pulled pork, and sides like Ed/K3BVQ’s beans, potato salad, coleslaw, watermelon, desserts, and beverage

It’s $10 for members and their guests, $5 for kids 16 and under, $15 for non-members.

Join us for the PAARC Auction on Friday, June 7th. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the auction items from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The auction begins at 7:30 pm. We accept cash, and PAARC members may also pay by check. Auction proceeds benefit PAARC. Refreshment table. There’s no presentation on this night, but there is a VE test session at 5:00 pm.
