Join us for our monthly meeting on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024 at 7:00 pm at St. James Lutheran Church in Limerick, PA. We’ll enjoy a fun social gathering with good food and fellowship! Members are encouraged to share their summer amateur radio adventures (POTA, SOTA, etc.), projects, and/or new radio related purchases with their fellow members and friends. Open to non-members who have their amateur radio license.
The previously scheduled license exam for 9/6 has been canceled due to a lack of applicants.

May 5, 2024 | Club Meeting
Join us for an ice cream social on Friday, June 7th at 7:00 pm. This will be a fun opportunity to enjoy for an eyeball QSO with friends before summer break. We’ll discuss Field Day, summer plans, and the annual 13 Colonies Special Event. This is our last in-person meeting at St. James Lutheran in Limerick until Sept. 6th when we return from our summer hiatus.
Please note we will not offer license exams in July and August.

Our presenter will be Ron Medykiewicz, WA3VEE, and his presentation will be an overview of Meltymeters and the Silly Scopes (sometimes known as multimeters and oscilloscopes)! There will be minimal slide whipping and a lot of hands-on practical stuff!
Some of the topics will include:
– What is a multimeter and what do you use it for
– Types of multimeters
– Tips, techniques, and safety precautions
On oscilloscopes (visual voltmeters)
– Why use an oscilloscope
– The three main settings on a scope – it’s easy!
– Things to measure with an oscilloscope
– Safety tips, hints, and techniques!

Please join us on Friday, Jan. 5, 2024 at 7:00pm for our monthly meeting at St. James Lutheran Church in Limerick, PA. The evening will feature an updated presentation on Drones with our club expert on the topic, Walt Skavinsky, KB3SBC. Come learn about these fascinating remote controlled robots — how they work, applications, and their future. All are welcome, no ham license necessary. Refreshments served.
There will not be a license exam session prior to this meeting. The next scheduled exam is Feb. 2 at 5:00 pm.
