Kenneth Leroy “Kenny” Sharp – W3TPN

Kenneth Leroy “Kenny” Sharp, 85, of Gilbertsville, formerly of Boyertown,
husband of the late Sue Ann (Losh) Sharp, passed away on Wednesday, January
20, 2021 at Pottstown Hospital.

Born in Bechtelsville, he was the son of the late Melvin L. and Irene
(Fronheiser) Sharp.

Kenneth was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of Lodge 741 F& AM in Boyertown
and the Raja Temple. Kenny was also a member of Keystone F.C., Bechtelsville
F.C. and Friendship Hook and Ladder F.C. in Boyertown. He enjoyed touring on
his motorcycle and was a member of the Goldwing Road Rider Association. Kenny
also enjoyed amateur HAM radio and hunting.

Surviving is daughter Debbie Kolb, wife of Clarence; son Darvin Sharp, husband
of Theresa; granddaughter Bree Godin; great grandchildren Jaden Weller and
Xander Godin; 4 stepgrandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren and 2 step great
great grandchildren. Along with

his wife and parents, he is predeceased by his sister Faye Endy, great
grandson Jayce Weller and 1 step great great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday,January 27, 11:00AM at Catagnus
Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 1020 E. Phila. Ave., Gilbertsville.
Burial will follow in Hill Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from
10:00AM to 10:45AM at the funeral home.

Gerald H. Harley, 76, husband of Deborah A. (Moorehead) Harley, Upper Providence Twp., died Wednesday, November 25, 2020, atPottstown Hospital. Jerry was born on December 16, 1943, in Schenectady, NY, to the late Herbert W. and Beatrice (Chase) Harley. Before retiring, Jerry was a computer analyst for 32 years with General Electric, first in Schenectady, then in King of Prussia as GE, Martin Marietta and Lockheed Martin. He also served for 23 years with the 109th Airlift Wing of the New York Air National Guard. Jerry loved muscle cars, amateur radio (known as WA2TTI, OX3GH and P40GH), and travel. In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by his daughters, Nancy, wife of David Norwood, W. Bradford Twp. and Lucy, wife of Kevin Braun, E. Bradford Twp.; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Norwood, Charles Norwood, Hannah Braun, Matthew Braun, Caleb Braun, and Andrew Braun. Due to pandemic constraints, a private memorial service will be held at Augustus Lutheran Church, Trappe. Ron Schwendt, N3AR SK

Ronald Joseph Schwendt, 89 of Union Twp., Berks Co., PA, died on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Penn State Health-St. Joseph in Bern Twp., Berks Co., PA. Born September 30, 1930 in Trenton, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Joseph Schwendt and the late Helen (Slaboda) Schwendt. He was predeceased by his 1st wife Helen Marie (Dzurkoc) Schwendt. They were married in St. Peter’s and Paul’s RC Church in Trenton NJ on April 24, 1954. Ronald married Mary Kathryn (Burger) Schwendt on April 5, 2008 in Immaculate Conception RC Church, Union Twp., Berks Co. PA. Ronald had been employed by RCA & Zenith Corp. in the 1960’s and 1970’s. He was also Co-owner of Maple Springs Deli, Birdsboro, PA with his wife Helen 1985 to 1995. He was a member of Immaculate Conception RC Church, Knights of Columbus, Arch Bishop Fulton J. Sheen Assembly #3046, Father Bally Council # 1192, PGK Bordentown, NJ Council #570, South Birdsboro Archery Rod and Gun Club, Green Hills Sportsman Association and the Birdsboro Sportsmen Club. He was a longtime member of the Pottstown Area Amateur Radio Club, the Rooster Net and Old Buzzards Radio Club.

Robert Bellini, N2IGU SK

We are sad to announce that PAARC member Robert “Bob” Bellini N2IGU of Phoenixville passed away on April 16, 2020. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends.

Bob was Chief Engineer of System Services for Lockheed Martin. His hobbies were robotics, electronics, computers, and Amateur Radio in which he held an Amateur Extra license.
